| It all started with a Swiss family who fell
in love with the Armagnac countryside, in the department of the Gers, located in the
Gascogne region of France. At the beginning of the century, conscious of the richness of the soil and of the special exposure to the sun some of the parcels were getting, the Gesslers gradually abandoned multiple cropping to transform a major portion of the Domaine de Joÿ into vineyards, and in particular to devote themselves to the cultivation of varieties of white grapes. Heirs of this devotion, Véronique and André Gessler and their sons, Olivier and Roland, have been working on improving the quality of their produce to be able to propose a fine selection of Vins Blancs de Pays Côtes de Gascogne Vin as well as a selection of their finest Bas-Armagnacs liqueurs. Present on both the export and restaurant
& hotel markets in France, the rapid increase in sales represents, for us, a pledge of
solemnity and consistency in facing a market has never truly clearly expressed its
expectations. |
