Distilled at the Domaine de Jo’,
from the following varieties of grapes:
Folle Blanche, Bacco and Ugni Blanc,
our Bas-Armagnac is aged
for a very long time
in wooden casks made of
of finely selected oakwood.
The raw spirit is then stored carefully in a wine cellar,
where it undergoes  a series of complex reactions in which
the tannic and aromatic substances of the oak develop
within the spirit, slowly transforming it into a rich mellow potion.
The secret of the mixture is carefully guarded
by Olivier and Roland Gessler.
It is this secret which enables the
Domaine de Jo’ to propose a selection of authentic
supple and fruity fine Bas-Armagnacs
to please everyone's tastes:
VSOP, Napoleon, XO and Hors d'Age.

In addition, Jo’ proposes a variety of vintages, a specificity of the Armagnac region corresponding exclusively to the year the grapes were gathered. Some years correspond to the strictest selection criteria we have set.

A place of its own amongst aperitifs
The result of tradition and recipes which have been passed on since the XVI
th century,
this blend of grape juice and the finest of our spirits confer to our Floc de Gascogne a fine characteristic with the hint of grapes.

A wine-taster's comments, by Sylvie Sahugučde, Wine Stewardess
Pale yellow robe with golden reflections. Subtle elegant yet complex aroma,
with notes of fruit (apricot, pineapple), flower and a hint of honey. Mellow in the mouth, full-bodied, suave, well balanced. A very slight hint of aciduality at the end leaves a tingling freshness.
